Good to see everyone. I get asked all the time, “how is it working for UniAmerica John”. I always tell them it’s actually pretty great. Then they ask how’d they hire you? And I gladly tell them the process I was given to do so. I started by attaining my Insurance License or my Property and Casualty License. By going to the Insurance school. Located in Glendale Mall. Or just a block away from the Mall. Took me about 3 months to graduate. The 1st month and a half was to study the official Property and Casualty book and participate in class to. The second month and a half was to take multiple computer tests and memorize the questions for the test. After you apply to take the official License test and the building is located in downtown Los Angeles. They have a parking lot near the facility to park your car inside. When you take the test it’s in a computer room and you do it on a computer. The test is at 100 points total and you have to score at least 60 points to pass the test. If you pass then you’ll get your License. So once I got my License I made a resume, then got to do an interview, and then I got hired everybody. They also ask how much did you score on the test. I usually don’t tell everybody that one but I scored 70 points. On my first and only try. So then I applied for the Marketing position and got hired for it. I know my UniAmerica team like the back of my hand.
a very great, and productive team. They know the product at hand like myself. The city it’s located in is in Wilmington CA, which is awesome. The office is pretty big, good air conditioning. I like my desk a lot as well. I’ve got a great computer and computer chair. Clients come in daily and come to seek their insurance services. Which we are happily and proudly here to do it for them. Marketing comes with many responsibilities and here at UniAmerica. It is my duty to complete our Marketing goals. This job comes easy to me. But it does come with some challenges. Such as, learning how to better yourself in Marketing, Posting relevant pictures, covering your target market, tracking or using google analytics. Learning how to use the video editing equipment. Truthfully I enjoy marketing for UniAmerica and I take pride in doing so. Its fun making post on social media, as well as drawing cool heroes and villains for post. I work the Word Press blog and handle all social media platforms. Sometimes I do other things like scanning, Phone Calls, Payments, shredding, passing out flyers, sometimes we handle boxes in the office’s attic. I also work on HawkSoft, to change premiums, etc. Other things I Like about UniAmerica is that we have Raffles, gifts that we hand out to participating clients as well. The team here is friendly, and our clients as well. I personally don’t live to far from the office. It takes about 30 minutes to reach The UniAmerica parking lot. Sometimes I bring Lunch or buy a sandwich at Subway. Okay guys that was it I’ll see you later. Bye.
